Origin Area : Penola South Australia     

This wine was estate grown, made and bottled at St Marys vineyard in the Penola Wine Region, South Australia.
Fermented in small open vats, the grapes were hand plunged and basket pressed.The wine was matured in oak barrels for 12 months.
The wine is black cherry in colour with deep garnet hues.  The Bouquet is an enticing mixture of violets and mulberry fruit characters complemented by gentle integrated Oak.  The wine has a powerful but elegant palate, with a long lingering finish.
